Itinerary

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and picked by our Safaris guide at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. You'll be transferred to your hotel where you will check in and relax.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Amboseli National Park. On arrival, you will check in at your lodge where you will have your lunch. After lunch, you will go for a game drive.

Amboseli is the best park in the whole of Africa with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli National Park is possibly the best wildlife area in the whole of Africa to experience elephants at close range.

After breakfast, you will head out and enjoy full-day game drives in Amboseli National Park. You will enjoy the view of Mount
Kilimanjaro which is the tallest mountain in Africa and the biggest majestic standing mountain in the world best viewed from Amboseli.

Wildlife and birds to be seen here include Maasai giraffes, hyenas, lions fringe-eared oryx, and over 400 species of birds. Amboseli National Park also contains vast groups of zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and antelopes. Also to be found in Amboseli are lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, and many species of plain gamed through thousands of meters of volcanic rock from Mount Kilimanjaro.

Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Kimana Amboseli Tented Camp.

You will depart Amboseli National Park in the morning via Nairobi for lunch and drive to the Great Rift Valley viewing sceneries en route, arriving at the pink lake early evening and proceeding with a game drive.

Lake Nakuru National Park's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingos and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the Rift Valley. The sight of at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance, the lake appears ringed in pink. Lake Nakuru National Park has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species particularly the Rothschild giraffes and the black and white rhinos. Lions, waterbucks, buffalos, and baboons are all residents here.

You will depart the hotel soon after breakfast and drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve arriving in good time for lunch.

After lunch, you will head out for an afternoon game drive. Masai Mara holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Masai Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and attendant predators.

You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopards, many kinds of antelopes, and elephants.

After breakfast, you will have a full day spent exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve. The reserve offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Besides experiencing the game drives, you will have time to enjoy the scenic view of the Great Rift Valley.

It is in the Maasai Mara National Reserve that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture.

In the evening, you'll visit the local Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour. You'll learn about the Maasai community and interact with the local people. Your overnight stay at the Maasai village can be organized upon request.
Optional Activity at a fee: A balloon safari at USD 485 per person can be organized early morning.
Meals and overnight stays will be at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

This is your last day on the safari. You will depart after early morning breakfast and head to Nairobi with arrival late in the afternoon. You will then proceed for a Giraffe Center visit. Later, you will be dropped off at the airport for an onward flight to Nairobi to connect for your scheduled flight back home.
